Society of Urologic Oncology
21st Annual Meeting
December 3 – 5, 2020
Dear SUO Community,
Like many of you, I look forward to attending the SUO Annual Meeting every year. Our meeting is more than just a chance to catch up on the latest scientific breakthroughs — it is a chance to catch up with colleagues and old friends, and to create new collaboration opportunities and partnerships. Even though we will not meet in Dallas, the SUO is working hard to make sure this year is no different.
Our program chairs, board members and staff are planning a Virtual Conference that will be so much more than the common webinars we are all attending these days. The SUO Annual Meeting will provide ample opportunities to connect with each other through instant messaging and private video conferencing, and expand on the content presented with dedicated facetime with our knowledgeable speakers and other leaders in the field. We are also looking forward to the opportunity to actually grow attendance as the meeting will be available live to a global audience for the first time.
We’re excited to bring you this re-imagined experience and I encourage you to block off December 3 – 5 on your calendar as if you were attending in person. There will be a mix of live and on-demand content as well as opportunities to network with peers and connect with our industry partners. We acknowledge the key role this meeting plays for fellows and residents, and so we would also ask that Fellowship and Residency Programs consider blocking off those dates as well to ensure participation of our trainees.
More information about the program will be provided in the coming months. We are also making this meeting free for SUO members as a way to show our dedication to you in this difficult time. Let’s make a commitment now to attend and participate to make this meeting the best one we attend this year.
