Research Innovation Award

BCAN is offering two $300,000 Research Innovation Awards to support exceptionally novel, high-risk, high-reward projects with great potential to produce breakthroughs in our understanding of bladder cancer.

• LOI Due January 10, 2023
• Invited full applicants will be notified by March 1, 2023
• Full Applications due April 12, 2023
• Awardees announced by July 2023
• Award starts August 2023

Young Investigator Awards

BCAN’s $75,000 Young Investigator and Patient-Centered Clinical Research Awards support outstanding early-career scientists and clinical cancer researchers with a demonstrated commitment to improving the understanding and treatment of bladder cancer and/or upper tract urothelial cancer.

Applicants may be working in basic, translational, clinical, epidemiologic, bioengineering sciences or any other field, but projects must be specific to bladder cancer.

Important Dates

• Award opens January 10, 2023
• Applications are due Wednesday, February 22, 2023 
• Award start date: July 2023
