I am delighted on behalf of the editors and publisher of “Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations” to share the exciting news of a dramatic increase in the journal’s impact factor from 2.921 in 2015 to 3.767 in 2016. The number of cites in 2016 of 4,321 also showed a substantive increase from 2015 (3,621).

This impact factor placed the journal 13th amongst all 76 journals in urology and nephrology, representing an eight position jump from the previous level.

We continue to reach out to and welcome SUO and YUO Membership to participate in and support the journal’s efforts in providing useful and valuable information to the urologic oncology community and in fulfilling its official representation of the SUO as the Society’s official journal.
